However, when pressed for details, their program typically looks something like this:
- Patients are encouraged (verbally or via email correspondences or website content) to recommend their friends and family,
- There is no tracking system in place for the referring or referred patients,
- There is no recognition system in place for the patients that referred others,
- There is no active outreach for other doctors or providers to be encouraged to refer patients,
- Typical professional referrals come ONLY from other physicians; other sources are non-existent,
